Professional Overview
McKenzie Wilson began her legal career with Wood & Swiney, P.C., where she practices in the area of workers’ compensation defense. She first joined the firm as an intern during law school, where she gained hands-on experience while developing a strong foundation in the specialized field of workers’ compensation defense for employers and insurers. Following graduation and the successful completion of the Alabama Bar Exam, McKenzie accepted an offer to continue with the firm as an Associate Attorney.
McKenzie graduated from Samford University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and German Language and Culture. She then went on to earn both her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees from Cumberland School of Law in 2025. Her legal and academic training equipped her with the skills and perspective she now brings to her work representing companies in workers’ compensation defense.
